R.R. 300 (6a) (XX. 847. 29-5-13) E.P. 4342. ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. INSTRUCTIONS. 12497 To: Mr Haden Order No.: PDI/W27913 Customer's No.: X2 Date: 29-9-1913 Re: Spring (extra) on footpedal D.R.B. I do not understand PDI/W27913. Mr Royce has never in any of my sheets I have received said spring was unnecessary. All Experimental cars with double Brakes, excepting only new hand adjust-ment scheme have been instructed with spring referred to & the experimental department & hitherto Mr Platford says they removed spring have never said such spring is unnecessary. The spring was required (where a quick adjust- is not fitted) to prevent footpedal chattering. Acting on absence of experimental departt on this point I instruct spring for 2700 & now at last moment I am asked to remove it. Surely it is late in the day to ask this. Signed: RMRB This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
