X1245 PARIS Sr22/Bnll. 6.35 To: "Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}". Dear "Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}", A penknife was found in the Bentley, and as it bears the R.R. trade mark, we believe it is yours? EWP{Mr Punt} was on the point of "snaffling" it, but as he does not smoke cigars, he does not need a knife to cut them. I have therefore decided that unless it is some souvenir with which you would not like to part, I could utilise it for the above mentioned purpose, and am therefore enclosing the proverbial halfpenny! Yours sincerely, M! | ||
