Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} BY.7/G.3.5.33. 3½ LITRE BENTLEY. In my memo outlining precisely what we were able to do and instruct up the machining of material for the 100 sets, we omitted to refer to the road wheels and hubs. These are held up pending results of further experiments, as the Rudge Whitworth's first attempt has been unsatisfactory, and Dunlop wheels are being obtained as well as three further sets of Rudge Whitworth, in order to make comparative tests. We have written to both Companies, asking them to give us the time that they would require to produce a further 12 sets (15 in all), in order to deal with the first batch of 12 chassis, plus the 3 experimental.
