BUMP TEST ON GOSHAWK 11. x4219 x4262

We have now broken altogether four brackets which hold the front end of the rear spring. One of these brackets only lasted 8 hours on the bump - another one lasted 60 hours. This, we consider, rather points to the fact that the difference must be caused by the condition of the metal due to the brazing.

We have also broken another rear spring. This has been run the whole time without the end clip for the leaves. The fracture has occurred about 1" from the clip. This proves that removing the clips has not increased the life of the springs.
