Rolls Royce Ltd., Experimental Dept., DERBY. Dear Sirs, For the attention of W.A.Robotham Esq. Confirming our telephone conversation to-day, we have despatched to you, per passenger train from St.{Capt. P. R. Strong} Pancras, two sets of Bentley Aerolite Pistons, which conform to the drawing we have submitted for the production pistons, and which have been made from the new foundry equipment. We would also confirm that, after having increased the core size to the limit which we consider desirable without further lengthy tests, we find the weight limit to be within 17.00 oz. to 17.20 oz. instead of the estimate shown on our drawing of 17.00 oz. to 16.80 oz., and we should be glad to have your confirmation that pistons within this weight limit would be satisfactory, so that the drawings can be modified accordingly. Yours faithfully, pp THE LIGHT PRODUCTION CO. LTD. A.R.Brooks. GENERAL MANAGER. | ||
