Hancock - Head Chateauroux}/Crn6.7.25. dynamo to examine brushes etc. The hole in cover is hardly large enough to pass over the fabric, consequently the outside edge of fabric becomes damaged. We believe the fabric coupling could, without any ill effects, be decreased in dia. approx. 0.125" which would facilitate and prevent damage when cover is removed. Front engine suspension tube to LeC.2027. This is still O.K. Carburetter & fittings. As previously reported, the diaphragm locating pin has worn the hole to an elongated shape. Carburetter butterfly throttle to E.73166/7/8 - this has not given us any further trouble. Ring nut for retaining air valve cap has worked loose on two occasions. Fan bracket, fan, and fan belt. These are in good condition. We have not had any vibrations from fan, and experienced no trouble with fan belt. Slipper & spring drive to Sch.628. These have functioned O.K., and are in good condition from an outside examination. Dynamo. This has functioned O.K. since our last report. Oil pump. We have had no trouble with this whatsoever. It still gives ample oil supply. Oil relief valve unit. We still think that this is in an inaccessible position. It has functioned O.K. Battery ignition. The points have now run 13,339 miles, since cleaning the condenser connections, and making all connections O.K. They are still making good contact, and have not deteriorated since our last report. We have had no trouble with battery ignition. It has functioned O.K. Oil relay for ignition system. We have dismantled this and examined piston. The leather washer is still in very good condition. The mileage of car since this was fitted is 20,624. The filter of this unit was taken out, and a fair amount of dirt and contd :- | ||
