Messrs. Specialloid Limited,

North Finchley,
London, N.12.

Dear Sirs,

Referring to your letter of September 28th and also to that of October 4th, we note that you are putting the dies in hand for some experimental pistons to suit our engines.

We should like to point out that we are not prepared to pay for these dies, also that we have just completed a very considerable series of tests on a proprietary make of piston which has proved to be very satisfactory, therefore it will probably be some time before we can run your products.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
