Dear Sirs,

Thank you for your letter ref. GES/PBC/MJ.399. of January 14th. containing the revised drawing of the 16" wire wheel CDS.1551. We are in agreement with this drawing and should be glad if you would make up for us a set of five such wheels. On this first set we should be glad if you would omit any provision for balance weights. This will mean that the full number of spokes can be used. We do not think that on this wheel we are going to require balance weights, but this will be decided before you receive any production orders.
