returned prematurely owing to the further oiling up of
plugs and consequent bad running. Also, the consumption
of oil is no better than 400 m.p.g.

He stated emphatically that we must loan him
a car and take his away, and he was not interested in it
until we could give him a firm assurance that the trouble
was positively cured.

I consulted H and then 'phoned the owner
offering the 20/25 saloon No.GSY-94, and I told the owner
that as I was going to Derby to-morrow morning, I would
drive his car there for the necessary attention.

He thanked me for this and accepted the offer,
and we are therefore handing over GSY-94 this afternoon
and I am delivering 3-AZ-170 to W to-morrow morning.

Apart from the oiling trouble, the owner
complained that the trip recorder of his speedometer has
failed three times. Therefore he is claiming a new and
trouble-free speedometer.
