Dear Sirs,
Re Starter Motor for Goshawk II.

We are in receipt of your letter of the 26th inst., together with your drawing D.50043, and in reply would advise you that we have been carefully over the dimensions of this Starter.

The dimensions shown on your drawing - 8.750 which is, we understand, the dimension you wish us to work to, is inside of the standard dimension of our Starter. It would therefor appear that there is no question of shortening the machine by 1/2" as mentioned in your letter, providing this dimension 8.750 is correct and what you require.

We are returning the drawing to you with the dimension of the Magnet Frame filled in, together with our drawing B.691, which will remain unaltered. Should there be any discrepancy in regard to the dimension given on your print, we shall be pleased to hear further from you in regard to the matter, when we will make every endeavour to arrive at an overhaul dimension to suit your requirements.

Assuring you of our best attention at all times.

We remain.

Yours faithfully,
ROTAX MOTOR ACCESSORIES LTD.

A.G. Bensteady.
