| To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} X312 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}16/KW.9.12.35. Flywheel & Clutch Balance. We understand that in the past it has not been the shop practice to balance the driven member of the clutch. When we have fabric on the driven member the inertia of the component becomes an appreciable item when out of balance is likely to cause serious vibration Will you therefore please ensure that the crankshaft and clutch complete with this member are in balance before they are fitted to the car. As far as we can ascertain at the moment, the red car is almost certainly suffering from out of balance. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
