- 6 - OIL PUMP. See Ex.S.403-4. External - and can be removed without disturbing any other unit. Oil Pressure 25 to 30 lbs/sq.in. Although the pump is on the outside of sump, it is very silent. (We think this is due to the heavy C.I. pump body). Relief valve is carried in the cover of the pump and is of the piston type with a very low rated spring. The C.I. cover is recessed to relieve pressure when oil is trapped in root of gears. PUMP GEARS. P.C.D. 1.200 dia. (Spread Centres) O/Dia. 1.540 Dia. (Approx.)
