Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd. Contd 2. 25.7.32. your instructions to make up one of these latest type of steerings for testing out on one of your cars. As regards the last paragraph of your letter, we have not had an opportunity of testing the "Saginaw" steering which you mention, and therefore we are not in a position to be able to give you a comparison of the two performances, but we would like to say that the Gemmer Manufacturing Co. of Detroit U.S.A. who have purchased the American Rights of the Marles Steering Gear are today doing an ever increasing business in this type of Steering, which is standardised on some of the best American cars, including the Stutz, Franklin, Lincoln, Chrysler, Nash etc. Trusting that we may be favoured with your further instructions, and assuring you of our best attention at all times, We are, Yours faithfully, for ADAMANT ENGINEERING COMPANY LIMITED.
