BODIES FOR LEFT-HAND CHASSIS.

With regard to the second body for the left-hand chassis, we do not wish it to be thought that this is not urgent. It is still required urgently, but not anything like the first one. We hope the second body will be ready in eight or nine weeks.

As we are going to make a new body, and this will be an experimental body, we think that we should take the opportunity of making this body suitable for the new radiator and dash-board. The only way to really judge the new radiator and dash-board is to have it on a complete car and we now have an opportunity of trying out this radiator and dash-board on a car which belongs to the Company. The fact that it is a left-hand chassis will not make any difference.

The Segrave addition of this bonnet and dash-board was unfortunate but we still believe that we could definitely improve the appearance of the complete car by alteration to the bonnet lines. It is very important to anticipate as much as possible any possible changes we are likely to make in the bonnet and radiator so that Springfield can start off on the right lines with their coach-work.

At the moment nothing is being done with the modified bonnet and radiator. We are waiting for a decision from Sales, and we should like this as soon as possible.
