R.R. 2/3 500 (FF op) 100 1.15 E.P. 500. ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED, NIGHTINGALE ROAD, DERBY. TELEGRAMS: "ROYCAR," DERBY. TELEPHONES, 476 (FOUR LINES). DEPARTMENTAL MEMO. This column is for Name of Person addressed. DATE. -2- not too bad. There appears to be still a bad axle period at about 18 m.p.h. Very notice-able to the driver - does not seem so pronounced in back of car. Is the spring coupling working O.K. Engine. V.Good for power and also very vigourous at slow speed, excellent "torque". Detonations bad, on both ignitions even although magneto is on intermediate plugs. There is plenty of carbon in cylin-ders, although lubrication appears very good - should not say over oiled. There was no trouble in intermediate plugs getting oiled up. I had a good examination of the cylinders and there was no excess of oil as one would expect by the quantity of carbon. This sheet must be filed with the correspondence to which it refers. (Contd) | ||
