EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 4/T2.11.21.

3. Starter switch H.S.1 similar to sample submitted to us recently.
4. Lucas switchbox with R.R. modifications as recently standardised for the 40/50 chassis.
5. Pair of head lamps No. R.55 and concealed cable provided with single centre contact adaptors arranged for earthed return. Also the necessary and suitable bulbs for these lamps.
6. Pair of side lamps No. 241, also with single centre contact adaptors and the necessary bulbs.
7. Tail lamp No. TF. {T. Fisher} 201 with bulb.

Up to the present we have one complete chassis set of the above, with the exception of the switchbox which perhaps, however, could be taken from those we received for the 40/50. Therefore, it would be necessary to send an enquiry or order as the case may be for three more sets.

In the case of lamps, it has been decided that Lucas lamps will be standard for the Goshawk, and although we should ultimately require five sets more, it was decided that at present it would only be necessary to keep two more sets of lamps in stock, making three altogether out of six. It will be understood that Lucas lamps will also be used with equipment which is otherwise C.A.V.

C.A.V. Equipment.

1. C.A.V. type DB {Donald Bastow - Suspensions} dynamo of the single field winding third brush controlled type, of which we have recently received a sample from the C.A.V. Co.
2. 4½" "SO" C.A.V. motor, less armature shaft, driving end bracket, bearing plate and pinion supplied by us, similar to sample received from the C.A.V. Company.
