From the Rolls-Royce experimental archive: a quarter of a million communications from Rolls-Royce, 1906 to 1960's. Documents from the Sir Henry Royce Memorial Foundation (SHRMF).
Prioritizing the 'Seagull' project, fearing delays from 'Stork' & 'Heron' chassis work, and noting concerns about front wheel brakes.

RE. "STORK" & "HERON" CHASSIS. X9770
With reference to your Hsl/LG29123., I fear these might delay "Seagull" at Derby. I prefer to use every hour of energy on pushing forward "Seagull". No time will be spent here on anything but "Seagull", until this is complete. I fear also that front wheel brakes may prove too great a temptation to keep off the road.
