c.c. to D.B. c. to EFC. EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/CHP8/EC11.6.22. RE. CHASSIS 4-RB.{R. Bowen} HAGUE. We have removed the 12 volt Exide Battery from the above car which is at present in our Department for attention. In 4 of the cells of this battery the plates are badly buckled, the remaining two are only slightly buckled. No ebonite separators are fitted and it is mainly due to the absence of these separators that the battery has failed. From our records this battery has only been in service about 12 months and we are of the opinion that some claim ought to be made against the makers for renovating this battery. We are preparing same for the inspection of the Chloride Co's, representative. Exide REC'D AUG 1922 | ||
