Copy of letter from Messrs. Leonard Williams & Co. Ltd. ---------------- LW/PB. Gt. West Road, Brentford, Mddx. 10th May, 1934. A.F. Sidgreaves, Esq., Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., 14/15, Conduit Street, W.1. My dear Sidgreaves, You will remember I was in communication with you some time ago with regard to a 12-cylinder PACKARD Chassis and I was informed that you were under the impression that the PACKARD 12-cylinder chassis for next year would be fitted with independent front springing. I wrote to our American house with regard to this and this morning I have received a letter from the General Manager of Packard Motors Export Corporation in which he states the 12-cylinder PACKARD will not have independent suspension. I am going to America next month and if I can do anything for you with regard to a chassis please let me know. Yours very truly, for LEONARD WILLIAMS & CO. LTD. (Sgd.) Leonard Williams. Managing Director. | ||
