Description of Parts.
ADDITIONAL FRICTION TO STEERING PIVOTS.

Origin.
In order to improve steering.

Experimental Test Report.
When we have made the best compromise with the steering by fitting the side steering tube to provide extra flexibility, there has been a tendency for low speed steering wobbles to develop. The only means we have of preventing this is to apply additional friction to the steering. It would always be possible with -

Road Test Report.
- this design of pivot to leave out the extra friction if it was considered necessary.

Run 1,000 miles.
This is another question of compromise on the steering.
