E4 / 3-3-21 5) The tube boss on the countershaft should be a push portion to suit hand forging and should be made plenty in length so as to stand more than working when tight on the countershaft & about 30° of clearance for the torque if this can conveniently be done. 6) Arrange the oiler into the clutch portion of the actuating plate and making this a milled plate on the inner distance piece. 7) Leave a part tapered flat on the locking tooth & avoid wearing away the front. 8) Use quarter bolts for securing outer bearing. to thro' channel & 2 BA bolts for securing the inner bearing to the patch on front.
