Description: SMITH'S MOTOR TYPE ELECTRIC CLOCK.
Purpose: To provide a more reliable clock.
Brief Report and Remarks: Approximately 25,000 hours on experimental cars, with satisfactory results. One fitted to Bentley S.H.J. now completing 15,000 mile test in France.
When recommended for Introduction: As soon as existing stock of empire clock is exhausted.

Introduction of the Smith Motor Type Electric Clock for improved reliability can be effected without scrap at the 129th. chassis in 'D' series when existing stock of Empire clocks will be exhausted.
No tool cost is involved and the decrease in Factory cost is £1.6.6d.
