For the attention of Mr.Bowering. File BWG{J. C. Bowring} Dear Sirs, Modified Bentley Jacks. With reference to our telephone conversation this morning, we have sent you by parcel post to-day, three sample Jacks showing the alternative finishes. (a) with black top (b) with plated top (c) with plated top, sleeve and guide tube. for which we quoted your Purchase Department on 18.7.35. The Jack with the black top has the top attached separately as this has been operated under a load of 14 1/4 cwt 117 times and has not been touched since. It is possible that you may care to dismantle this Jack and inspect its condition. Among the three handles sent, one is fitted with a slightly weaker spring than the other two and we shall be glad to know which strength of spring you prefer. When you have had an opportunity of inspecting the Jacks, the writer would be pleased to call on you if you consider it desirable. Yours faithfully, FOR DUNLOP RUBBER CO.LTD., Frank R Carr Sales Manager - Accessories. @ Jack selected together with handle with weaker spring. | ||
