101st Meeting Concerning broken Magneto drive of chassis 1130
Dec. 19. 11. (Cornelius.)

The Committee had agreed that a man should be sent to inspect the spring drive of this chassis in order to discover if its inefficiency had caused this breakage.

Mr. Wormald now reported that this car had not a spring drive fitted, and the instructions consequently would not stand. 7030
The Committee re-discussed this matter, and pointed out that they had stated two probable reasons for the failure. The first reason it had been suggested was that the magneto had become loose and moved from its position

The Committee agreed that if a spring drive was not fitted to the chassis, then this was the probable cause. They further agreed that Mr. Wormald should write to the owner, to the effect that if convenient, the car should be sent in for inspection of the parts which had failed but that no further action beyond the replacement of the parts should be taken.
