to give a resistance of 40 lbs. at the end of a lever and that Mr. Spinney should go into this question with a view of obtaining a spring to give the required pressure without having too small a clearance between the individual coils.

The Committee were informed that Mr. Spinney had not yet been able to give this matter his attention.
