To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} x217? Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}11/KW.30.10.34. 4-Bearing Crankshaft. The result of the torsion test of this crankshaft shows it to be surprisingly weak. We cannot think of any reason for this other than the length of the centre crank pins. To make sure of this point we should like to have torsion figures for the two model cranks shown on Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1580/1. Will you please make these for us and hand them to Walter Bell for testing. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} | ||
