E.H. note & return X4190 EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} LE22/W9.12.19. Re. 19LW. (P.N. open trials) Mr. Holgate arrived at Conduit Street yesterday and found that when running this engine light there was a very elusive knock which cannot be shorted out, but it is noticed when shorting any cylinder it makes a knock much more pronounced. Under load the knock is not audible at all. Furthermore, the knock seems to be just the same when cold as when the engine is nice and hot. J.L.B. [STAMPED: TEST DEPT 13 DEC. 19 RECEIVED] | ||
