Ordering alternative 'XB8' carburetter needles from the S.U. Co. for the latest series 20/25HP.

Trot Salt - Carburation}2/MA.11.7.34. 20/25 HP. CARBURETTER. With reference to the needles which will be supplied by the S.U.Co., of Birmingham for the carburetter on the latest series 20/25HP. Owing to the possibility of there being a slight variation between the results obtained from these carburetters made on production and the ones made in the Experimental Dept., we think that an alternative needle should be ordered. It will then be possible to pass off production cars without delay, as soon as results have been obtained from the first batch of carburetters on test. We suggest 20% of the needles ordered should be "XB8", dimensions for which are already with the S.U.Co., Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/C.T.Salt. | ||
