Condition report on various engine components including a distributor, coils, harness, and battery.

RE. IVER TESTED OUT 10 K.V.

Distributor to DB.{Donald Bastow - Suspensions}2300 No.C. (R.R.)

This distributor has run 49,454 miles and is in a good condition with the exception that a new bearing was necessary in the housing.

Coils to D.75673. (R.R.)

These have run 43,534 miles and are in a good condition and fired regularly on 10 K.V. gaps for 3 hours.

H.T. Harness.

The insulation of this harness was good but the plug ends had swollen due to oil, a complete new set of 13 I. Neoprene cables have been fitted.

Battery.

This battery has been fitted on the car whilst away. The fully charged acid specific gravity was found to be low and corrected, other it was in a good condition.

The positive terminal was badly corroded and a new one has been fitted.
