B.80 NO.2 UNIT.

Complete investigation of crank and camshaft oscillations as previously specified. Before removing from bed we should try out the Cadillac bonded rubber damper which By/Ald.{F. Allwood - Experimental Design} is adapting to B.80.

B.60 NO.1 UNIT (Chain driven camshaft).

As soon as ready this unit to be fitted on the universal bed when B.80 No.2 is removed.

With the best type of damper found on B.80, this should be tuned to suit B.60 unit.

Check for crank periods and chain periods and noise throughout speed range.

If no apparent trouble, then endurance will be specified in the next memo.
