(8) It has the light piston with domed corners, I think, which makes it very susceptible to chirping - detonations. I should like this changed during the investigations for light ones with flat or hollow tops but giving the same compression.

We shall not attempt to alter the car here, so that it can be properly investigated. It goes exceedingly well at high speeds but it is not a pleasant car to drive slowly.
