Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of August 12th - reference AP/GH - concerning oil seals to run on a 1 1/2" dia. shaft.

It was due to an error on our part that we asked for a seal of outside dia. 1 3/4". The 2 1/4" dia. which you quote is the actual diameter we require. We shall be glad, therefore, if you will send us six such seals as soon as possible, and mark them for the Writer's attention.

Yours faithfully,
For ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.

S.H. Grylls.
