Dear Robotham,

Thank you for your letter of the 18th instant, which I was glad to have. I shall certainly look forward to seeing you at Kedleston some other time.

I quite understand what you say with regard to the swaying of my car; but I am afraid I will have to make do with it for some few years yet, before I can consider buying another one.
