RE WATER CONNECTIONS ON JACKETS. Mr Elliott has re-arranged thos to do away with the screw unions on these connections, and we propose that the new ones are to be made of simple pieces of steel tube, bent or straight, and slid into position. The rubber connections fit on the plain external surf of these tubes, and a system of clips to be revised suitable for a flat surface which permits of a more satisfactory standard design for these clips. As this will save work and weight we should be glad if this modification can be tried at once and the manufacture of the parts of the present somewhat complicate designs slowed down so as to be more "Hand to mouth".
