Origin: To match up with 4 port induction system for simplicity and saving in production cost. Report of Experimental Test. Actual 4 port head which ran 15,000 miles is slightly different to the one which this sheet standardises in that exhaust hot spot passage is deleted and other minor alterations to boses etc. 15,000 miles was run with solid rockers. Included with the head the simplified cored hot box was not run, however other tests show that these alterations should not deter from standardising uptodate 4 port head and fitments. Attached is specification.
