To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from BJ. Copy to..... By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} BJ4/H14.8.24. X766 BJ4/H14.8.24. Re Water Boiling on Cars. Some considerable time ago we raised the point of the difficulty that customers had in remembering to open the radiator shutters, and in consequence they boiled their water away. R.{Sir Henry Royce} then stated that he would arrange for a whistle to be fitted to inform people when the water was steaming. Can you please let me know how far these experiments have gone, or whether it has been arranged to standardise the whistle, and when it is likely to come in? B.J. | ||
