Messrs. Joseph Lucas Ltd.
Well St.{Capt. P. R. Strong}
Birmingham.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for yours of the 1st inst. ref. X/R3 having reference to the faulty Lucas Alto horn returned to you.

We should be glad if you will say whether this horn is now representative of your up-to-date practice as you do not refer in your letter to the sample up-to-date Alto and Altette horns which were promised us for trial on our experimental chassis along with a sample of your new type windscreen wiper.

We have now received this horn O.K. and are fitting it to one of our Phantom II chassis for test.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
