Automotive Products Co. Ltd.,
Tachbrooke Road,
Leamington Spa.

For the attention of Mr. Van Vestraut.

Dear Sir,

Further to our telephone conversation of this morning, we have measured up the required change in angle of the front jacks so that they shall be vertical when the car is raised off the ground and find that they must be moved outwards at the bottom end 10° on each side of the car.

The normal position of the bottom buffer plate on the lower suspension triangle is 7° to the ground and becomes another 3° when the car is jacked up.

We are sending you a drawing of this plate to give you exact dimensions for drilling the holes in your bracket.

We should like to have the rear jacks back as soon as they are fitted with stronger springs so that we can get them fitted to a chassis.

The front jacks we presume you will keep until you have brackets at the correct angle.

Yours faithfully,

For Rolls-Royce Ltd.
