Please refer to your notes By14/H6.8.20 and By12/H Messrs.Jonas Woodhead & Sons Ltd. will very shortly complete the front springs required for the first 2000 chassis (or 2100 chassis, including the 100 chassis for War Office) and they desire to know, without delay, whether it is our intention to make any alteration whatever in the design and method of construction of front springs which will be ordered for chassis 2001 onwards. Particularly they wish to know whether any alteration will be made in the main plates and whether it is our intention to continue to have nibs and slots in the other plates, or whether these will be cut out. Will you kindly let me have your instructions with regard to these points as soon as possible. [WATERMARK] MADE AT ROLLS-ROYCE Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} | ||
