1. WIRE WHEELS.
2. CLUTCH VALVE AND CLUTCH SPIGOT.
3. STEERING WHEEL SPOKES.
4. PILOT JET TAP.

CAN BE REPORTED TO AMERICA.

Mr. Hives has reported after experiment that the deletion of the clutch valve leaves the clutch spigot ineffectively lubricated. It therefore follows that Mr. Royce requires the clutch valve reinstated in the American chassis.

Mr. Royce has suggested a slow taper (say 1 in 48) with a shoulder for all such cocks. This is being instructed for experiment in England, and America should be advised accordingly.

MORE INFORMATION REQUIRED.

Mr. Platford reported that the American wheel has fewer locking positions than ours, & Mr. Royce objected to this as a distinct disadvantage. We are asking EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} to obtain an arrangement drawing of the hub as it is understood to be different in other respects. More information required before decision can be formed.

As regards the clutch spigot, there is insufficient information available, and we are asking EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} to obtain a drawing.

Mr. Royce was informed of this but made no comment. We suggest that EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} obtains a drawing of the alteration.

WE SUGGEST CAN BE DROPPED.
