Messrs Ferodo Ltd.,
CHAPEL-EN-LE-FRITH

For the attention of Mr.Longley.

Dear Sirs,

Some while ago you supplied us with some bonnet rest strip fabric, which was wider than our standard strip, but of the same thickness. We enclose a sample of this strip (approx. .100 thick). You have also recently supplied us with another type of rest strip which was of the same width as the sample enclosed but approximately .150" thick. This latter strip has a coarse transverse weave.

We should like to know whether you can supply us with rest strip similar in all respects to the sample enclosed herewith, except that it should be approximately .100 thick i.e. it must have similar weave and graphite impregnation.

If you can do this we would like you to send us 20 ft. immediately. Our official order for same will follow on receipt of confirmation from you.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
