| Messrs.Rolls Royce Ltd. 10th August, 1935. It must be understood that the surging discussed above is occurring only at fairly high loads. If it occurs at medium loads, such as may be encountered when the vehicle runs on the flat or downhill, it is, of course, unacceptable and must be cured at all costs.
