FOOTBOARDS. BENSPORT.
We send herewith N.Sch.3563 shewing the sloping footboard for the Bensport.
It will be noticed that the angle of the board to the horizontal has been increased so as to reduce the depth of the pot in the centre and to give more clearance for the tachometer drive. This has been made possible by the use of a single cast pedal gap place permanently bolted to the dash-board and the dash bracket into which the bosses of the pedal plates can dip.
You will notice that very much more adequate gas excluding devices have been fitted around the pedal stem, and with little extra cost.
There is only one sloping board which is cut out to fit round and rest on this pedal gap plate. It is not attached by a catch as on previous cars but is held down with our standard floorboard screws going into the usual dashbracket dead-eye.
A design of the front floor and heelboard is to follow in a few days.
