| STI X300k HOTEL DE FRANCE. CHATEAUROUX. Indre. France. To. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} From. G.W.H. 3. S. I. SPECTRECodename for Phantom III. We have now fully tested the Carburetters with an Asbestos washer between the joint of the Carburetters & Cylinder, to isolate the heat effect. The result is, no improvement. After standing for ten minutes, we still have the strong mixture and difficulty in starting. Cold air taken direct from the top of the bonnet, has no desired effect. Our previous temperature readings of the air intake were definately wrong. The ordinary metal thermometers are useless for this class of work. ------------- G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} W. H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} G.W.Hancock. | ||
