the danger of explosion.

This is not very clear, as it
may mean either danger from explosion
owing to the pressure of air in the
tank, which would mean that we were
safe-guarded by our relief valve; or
on the other hand it may mean that it
is necessary to fit some form of gauze -
as in the Davey safety lamp - to prevent
a flame passing into the tank.

I think Mr Mackintosh should
also make enquiries concerning this
point.

Chapter 2. Article 11.

This rule states that a car
must be fitted with an apparatus which
prevents unauthorised persons from sett-
ing the car in motion.
