Sheet No.5. (3) 25/30 Worst Features. Handwritten: Swal What prospects a.{Mr Adams} Weak Manifold Studs. The possibility of fitting 5/16" Studs in the place of the present 1/4", when the occasion arises at Depots, will be considered. b. Brake Squeaks. BZ. Linings, which so far have proved satisfactory on Bentley, are now being tried on 25/30. c. Exhaust Suspension. GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} is investigating a modified type of suspension. d.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} Axle Control Anchorage. Wearing and Knocking. A scheme to remedy this, incorporating a steel bush, is in existence, and will be pursued. e.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Carburetter Flat Spots. A modification, consisting of a leather piston, for the accelerator pump, as fitted to P.III, is available. f.{Mr Friese} Starting from cold. There is a Depot Sheet for all sticking troubles, except those due to the auxiliary valve spring in the choke valve being too strong. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} has a modification in hand for this. g.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} Popping in the Exhaust. A special Carburetter will be available for extreme complaints.
