TO BX. FROM E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Copy to - OJ HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} ORIGINAL RR. E.16. CARBURETTERS. Regarding the carburetters for Eagle 16., Mr. Royce does not intend to make a special design yet, until we have tested the induction system as at present arranged, and find that it is satisfactory, and also until we know that the engine is going into production. We have considered adapting Eagle 9. carburetters, but these seem rather too small, and Mr. Royce would like you to obtain some Claudel, Zenith, or any other carburetters obtainable, to give 250HP. each, and adapt two of these to the supercharger inlets. If you could get a double carburetter of approximately the correct pitch it would do. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
