W.P. - 13 - 1 14) 35 Modification to 20/25 rear brake shaft bearing is being carried out on all cars as they become available. Depot Sheet No. Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}220. New 20/25 cars have improved lubrication scheme to outer bearings. Also increased clearance being given to footbrake on synchromesh cars. See Depot Sheet No. Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}246. Bronze Bush now being fitted to replace white metal bearing.

Oil feed to servo is now deleted on new cars and Depot Sheet No. Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}253 has been issued instructing retrospective action. Depot Sheet No. Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}252 describes treatment for inefficient servos. Oil guards to Depot Sheets Nos. Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}224 and Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}232 are being fitted.
