Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Major Searight.

We thank you for your letter of the 13th.inst. with enclosures.

There is one point we should like to make. We have done away with the overflow pipe completely on our 40/50 HP. and cannot notice any material difference in the behaviour of the gauge. As our tank is so well ventilated, we should like to know whether you can tell us of any objection you are likely to meet as a result of this procedure.
