N/W Mx{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer}/LA{L. A. Archer} C O P Y Br2/S21.12.36 re. Chassis 3-AZ-126 - Lt.Col. G.W.Parkinson You will probably recollect that on the 17th inst. you tested the above car at N against the owner's complaint of booming, and you decided that a vibration damper on the propellor shaft would probably do a lot of good. Since then, apparently the owner has been in touch with the Administration, and he is very disgruntled. C has asked me to inform you that the modification should be carried out as quickly as possible. Will you therefore please let me know when you anticipate being able to to forward the part required.
